Overview of Insights
Skip the analysis and jump straight to actionable insights.
Insights is an add-on feature of the Analytics module, sitting alongside Flex Modes. Designed for busy sales teams, it provides out-of-the-box functionality so they can hit the ground running. It automatically analyzes your data and delivers clear, actionable outcomes, removing the need for manual analysis or deep knowledge of Analytics.
Currently, Insights is focused on sales data, helping sales teams uncover opportunities and drive more revenue. In the future, we’ll expand its scope to deliver insights across other areas of your business.
Don't have the Insights in your Phocas site? Ask your administrator about it or visit our website to learn more about this module and what it can do for your business.
Access Insights
To access the Insights feature, you need both the Insights license and the user permission.
You'll then see the Insights item in your Phocas navigation menu.

Get started
When you click Insights in the navigation menu, you'll see a list of your Phocas databases organized into two groups: Configured and Unconfigured. Databases need to be configured (setup) by an Administrator before you can use them in Insights.
Click the required configured database to open its Customer segmentation page.
