# View the audit log

{% hint style="info" %}
User permission: Budgets & Forecasts
{% endhint %}

The audit log contains a record of all changes that were made by all users to the cells and workflow rows in a worksheet tab, allowing you to view the cell and workflow history for multiple cells\* at the same time. You can search for specific logs and export the list of logs to Microsoft Excel. You can also move directly from a particular log to its corresponding cell in the worksheet.

\*You can only see logs for the cells that are in the rows available to you.

1. Click the **Logs** button in the top right corner of the grid to display the **Audit log**, which shows logs for the last seven days by default. If you have already opened the log and made some changes in the worksheet, click the **Refresh** button to update the logs list.
2. Search by keyword, filter by user or select a date range to quickly find the logs you want to view.
3. (Optional) Click the coordinate of a log to jump straight to the corresponding cell in the worksheet. You can then take a closer look at the cell history in the usual way.
4. (Optional) Click the Export button to export the list of logs to Microsoft Excel.
