Learn about the Budgets & Forecasts homepage and how to open a workbook.

User permission: Budgets & Forecasts

Your budget or forecast workbooks are accessible from both your Phocas homepage and side navigation menu (Budgets & Forecast menu and Recents menu lists). Budgets & Forecasts also has its own homepage.

Click Budgets & Forecasts in the Phocas menu, then click the Budgets & Forecasts homepage button in the top-right corner. To open the homepage in a separate browser tab, right-click the button and select Open link in new tab.

Your Budgets & Forecasts homepage contains a list of all the workbooks you can access. Your access to a workbook depends on multiple factors. Even when you have the required user and database permissions, you can only access a workbook if one of these conditions applies:

• You created the workbook (you are the budget owner).

• You are added as an administrator to the workbook.

• You are assigned to a workflow task in the workbook.

• You are added as a viewer of the workbook.

Your Budgets & Forecasts homepage has many of the same features as your Phocas homepage, allowing you to sort and filter the grid or search for specific workbooks.

Depending on your permissions, you can access the following actions from here:

• Click a workbook to open it in the Budgets & Forecasts module.

• Create a budget workbook

• Apply a session filter

• Edit a workbook setup

• Manage workbook access

• Delete published streams

• Delete or restore a workbook
