# Take a tour of Budgets & Forecasts

Your budget or forecast workbooks are accessible from both your [Phocas homepage](https://app.gitbook.com/s/7pj8v25BOyqZTdG5mdD1/getting-started/homepage) and [side navigation menu](https://app.gitbook.com/s/7pj8v25BOyqZTdG5mdD1/getting-started/navigation) (Budgets & Forecast menu and Recents menu lists). Budgets & Forecasts also has its own homepage. 

Click **Budgets & Forecasts** in the Phocas menu, then click the **Budgets & Forecasts homepage** button in the top-right corner. To open the homepage in a separate browser tab, right-click the button and select **Open link in new tab**.

Your Budgets & Forecasts homepage contains a list of all the workbooks you can access. Your access to a workbook depends on [multiple factors](https://docs.phocassoftware.com/budgets-and-forecasts/getting-started/overview-of-key-terms-and-concepts/overview-of-users-and-data-access). Even when you have the required user and database permissions, you can only access a workbook if one of these conditions applies:

* You created the workbook (you are the budget owner).
* You are added as an administrator to the workbook.
* You are assigned to a workflow task in the workbook.
* You are added as a viewer of the workbook.

Your Budgets & Forecasts homepage has many of the same features as your Phocas homepage, allowing you to sort and filter the grid or search for specific workbooks.&#x20;
