Change the stream
Use the Stream menu to change the stream of data that displays in the grid.
A stream is a series of data that comes from a particular source. Typically, each business unit or department produces its own stream of data, and these individual streams collectively make up the data in a database.
The available streams depend on the database. For example, in a Sales database, you might have a Sales Invoices stream, an Inventory stream and a Budget stream.
The default stream displays at the top of the list and is selected when you reset the grid. If there's only one stream in the database, there is no list to select from; the stream name displays in the Stream menu.
The selected stream determines which dimensions are available in the dimension panel. For example, the Customer dimension isn't available in the Stock on Hand stream. Similarly, the Warehouse dimension isn't available in the Forecast stream.
Change the stream
Click the Stream menu.
Select the stream you want to view.
The grid updates to display the data from the selected stream and the Stream menu displays its name. You can only select one stream at a time.
If you frequently use a stream that isn't the default, save your view as a favorite to keep your stream selection for later.
To return to the default view, click Reset.

To compare two streams side by side, and analyse the variance between them, switch to Stream mode. For example, compare actuals against budget.
To view data from multiple streams in any mode, add a measure column and select a different stream for that column.
