Switch between Summary and Dimension views
Switch between a high-level summary of your data and detailed data for a selected dimension.
Every mode has Summary and Dimension views. Use these views to move between an overview of your data and the individual entities you want to analyze.
What displays in each view depends on the selected mode. See Switch modes for details.
View data by dimension
Select a dimension to switch to Dimension view. The grid displays the individual entities in that dimension.
For example, select the Customer dimension to view and analyze individual customers.
As you continue your analysis, you can select and focus on entities to narrow the data further.
Return to Summary view
Click Summary to return to a high-level view of the data while retaining the context of your analysis.
For example, if you focus on several customers in Dimension view, click Summary to view a summary of those customers rather than the whole database.
The grid displays the summarized data according to the selected mode.
Return to your starting point
Click Reset to clear the changes you made during your analysis and return to the view where you started your analysis.
