Change the period (Flex Modes)

Periods are a core concept in Phocas. Read the Phocas basics > Periods page to learn more about the Period menu and the different types of periods.

You use the Period menu to change the timeframe that applies to the data in the grid.

Click the Period menu to view the list of defined periods, then select the one you want to apply. The grid updates automatically. Flexible Variance mode has three period menus, allowing you to view data for three different periods to the grid.

To apply a custom period, select the Select dates option at the top of the Period menu. Select the start and end month, then click Apply.

The Select dates feature is still in development, so for now it's limited to a monthly date range. More options are coming soon.
